Dec 3, 2008 - just watched the first part and i love it!!! i've always dreamed of myself getting in a time machine an being there and now they've made a film!!! i love jane austens novels! what a brilliant idea, although i do agree that they would have been shocked at seeing what amanda is wearing, so they should've worked on that bit but otherwise fantastic!

Dec 3, 2008 - Yes, in truth, that is acknowledged! I did not read any of the reviews, and it has not been shown in the US - so I was so pleased to find it here for us to enjoy as well. What can be better than Jane Austen and her best loved novel, Pride & Prejudice - I do so hope we will get to see all four parts. I am hooked. The cast is incredible - it is all shot so elegantly. I love it.
