Exquisite Du' Troit: (Anijam) The "Exquisite Corpse" was a game played by the surrealists in which someone drew on a sheet of paper, folded it and passed to the next person to draw on until, finally, the sheet was unfolded to reveal a calculated yet random composition. Serendipity is the result of this collaborative project, Dada-originated "Exquisite Corpse". Students develop animated sequences from each other's key (extreme) drawings. The finished drawings are ready to be shot under the animation camera for final production. The production was created under the supervision of Associate Professor Gary Schwartz from the Entertainment Arts Department at the College for Creative Studies (a.k.a. CCS) in Detroit, MI. Students develop animated sequences from each other's unique animated clips. Each student created one drawing. That drawing was the FIRST drawing of their animated sequence. It was also the LAST drawing of someone else's animated sequence. The process of creativity and imagination is more important than a predetermined result in this project.ANIMATORSJordan T.
