HOLY CHEESEBALLS, BATMAN, HIME MADE HET.That's right, it finally happened. ;OMy first video with a straight pairing. :D...Don't expect any more than this, though.SoraxNamine is the only one (in Kingdom Hearts) I like. xDI've noticed since my random organization in the last Misadventures video, I've gotten the habit of using the "o1" and such. But then after seeing that amazing Zemyx video in my favorites (WATCH IT NOA), I've realized it's pretty similar to KaitousWish1292's system. D;Swear I didn't steal it. But right now I'm too brain dead to think of a new symbol thing. ~.~*ded from first day of college* (WHEN DID I GET THIS OLD? D;)So for now, onto the unoriginally organized info. :'Do1. General: OH GOD IT'S FINALLY HERE.I've been at this thing since I finished my last video.I've wanted to do a SoraxNamine for ages, but never got around to it.Then Sarah got all obsessed with this song, and since her birthday was coming, I decided to put two and two together. :DThere are a few errors, I think, but not as many as last time!!o2. Important Notes: I didn't really use many effects in this.I did, however, whore out on the glows, grayscales, and white flashes.The theme of this, as the story will explain in a minute, is dreams and ghosts and whatnot.So the white flashes signal a revealed memory (the blur is a shift), and they're grayscale for that reason. The glow is to add the surreal ghost element.For that reason, Namine will never appear without the glow....By the way, I could NOT have picked a WORSE PERSON to use glow on for the first time.Namine + Castle Oblivion + White Glow Effect= SON OF A BITCH.So if sometimes it doesn't look too perfect, please forgive me. I tried my best.o3. Video Story: When Roxas and Sora became one whole, Sora's heart underwent a drastic change.As it completed itself, pieces merged and shifted as Nobody became Somebody once again.However, during this process, the depths were disrupted.The loose links, abandoned and doomed to drift in the abyss, began to rise to the surface.As Sora is back home, memories begin to unfold---memories he had no recollection of.A castle he's never seen, conversations he's never had... And a girl. A girl he doesn't know, but has met before.As more and more of these memories drift into Sora's mind, he becomes obsessed with them. What happened? Who is SHE?He sees her every time he looks at a girl; especially Kairi.Sora turns to Riku for help, but only receives denial. But Sora can see it in his eyes: he's lying. He knows, but he doesn't want Sora to know.But he wants to know. He remembers that she's important to him.Driven both by the need for answers and his desire to see the girl once again, Sora leaves home to search for her, wandering with vague pieces of distant memories as a guide, because no one will help.After a long time of hopeless searching, Namine appears to him, but not as a memory or dream.She stands before him, but as a ghost.Sora stares, wondering if he's finally gone completely crazy, but Namine makes a portal of darkness and tells him to follow her.Without hesitation, Sora runs through it after her.He finds himself on a long winding road through vast fields that look vaguely familiar.As he follows it, he eventually finds himself before the castle from his dreams.As he rushes inside, he finds a ghostly Namine waiting for him.She then sadly tells him the truth: she's gone forever.In an attempt to ease his suffering, Namine gives him her memories of their time in Castle Oblivion. As he remembers it all and realizes the truth, Namine tells him with a sad smile and tear that she will always be in his heart before disappearing for the final time.With no other choice, Sora returns home with nothing more than a broken heart and memories.(ANGSTTTTT.)o4. The Rest: The render changed my watermark and screens again, ugh. Also, as you'll notice, I was experimenting with transitions in a few parts. Hopefully they're not too bad?And please ignore the occasional age differences in Sora. I tried to mostly use his fifteen year old self, as this is post KHII, but I needed some earlier ones. Of course, I envy you for Vegas, but you put Sora and Namine together in a way that matched perfectly! I loved how you did the "she's been running through my dreams" line. The gradient was a very nice touch. Also, the bridge, I guess (the section towards the end), was great. I loved how he "followed" her into the portal. All in all, an absolutely outstanding video! n.n

I didn't get very far with it. I was just like, "...Zomgwtfisthis?" and it expired before I could even use it. *eyeroll*By the way, sorry about multiple replies before. Nov 19, 2008 - Haha, that's okay! n.nThought that's the version you had. Just the clip where Namine is glowing and nothing else is kinda said "masking" to me.Ulead=confusing as heck. As difficult as it can be, I'd rather use WMM. But, I'm trying not to let a program defeat me. I like the effects, but they don't let you fade in/out to black. Bad, bad move. So, I use my "blackscreen" and beat the program over the head with it. But meh. Is Vegas very confusing?

Nov 19, 2008 - Oh, I actually didn't mask anything, heh. My program has the ability, but I...don't have the knowldge or skills. xD I've used a bunch of layering, though. I'm in love with that. That and the cropping.<3WMM can totally make great things if effort is actually put into it. But the lack of effects and options really limits it, sadly. Though I've actually seen some sort of "6" version for Vista, I think, and it seems to have a lottttt more. [Gonna have to continue due to stupid character limit.]

Nov 19, 2008 - But oh, are you sure? I thought Vegas didn't either, because under the transitions there wasn't one. But instead when you place a clip, you have to like, put the cursor near the top corner, and then you can drag it over a length... And it makes a black fade of that length.But Vegas isn't too bad. At first I was like "OH MY GOD WHAT IS ALL THIS @_@" but after messing around and using their built-in tutorials for a while I got it. Not an expert like some amazing editors, but enough basics...xD

That seemed like it was, but I can see how it wouldn't be. You still did a great job. Ulead seems to be very similar to Vegas from how people describe it. Is it?WMM can indeed make awesome stuff, but it's very hard to find effects for it. It's very annoying when you try to overload the effects. Very annoying and slow.

Like I said, I didn't really get to use ULead that much. I looked around it but it didn't like me importing clips, so I didn't actually put too much into effect... I can't see how different they could possibly be, though.But yes, that is very, very true... Vegas hasn't been too nice to me so far but I still love it for its varity. So a new thing. xD

Possibly one of the only het pairings I tolerate in KH, among very few others. xD I really liked it, too, so that gives the pairing more points. :D The glowy thing was good, too.
