IRON MAN THEMEA classical song from BLACK SABBATHRead the lyrics:Has he lost his mind? Can he see or is he blind? Can he walk at all,Or if he moves will he fall?Is he alive or dead?Has he thoughts within his head?Well just pass him thereWhy should we even care?He was turned to steelIn the great magnetic fieldWhere he traveled timeFor the future of mankindNobody wants himHe just stares at the worldPlanning his vengeanceThat he will soon unfoldNow the time is hereFor iron man to spread fearVengeance from the graveKills the people he once savedNobody wants himThey just turn their headsNobody helps himNow he has his revengeHeavy boots of leadFills his victims full of dreadRunning as fast as they canIron man lives again!~hawk~

Nov 19, 2008 - proof that metal can be slow and still hit hard
solord Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - Absolutely on point, Metalmonger!! When metal first came out, most of the songs were slow because it heavy metal was blues-based. All bands like Sabbath, Zeppelin, Deep Purple did was speed it up blues, jazz r&b riffs and add more distortion power & volume & there you have it: Kick-Ass Heavy Metal Thunder! You want to hear real slow high-octane metal? Try Yardbirds-Led Zeppelin's "Dazed & Confused."Even "War Pigs" is slower than Iron Man & more demonic in my opinion!!

Nov 19, 2008 - Solord is right, when you look at it metal is very blues based, look at zeppelin, people consider them the creators of metal, and they where completely blues based, black sabbath even, was originally a blues cover band back in the day.
