So I sauteed some shallots, garlic, and shittakes (for which spell check suggests "shit takes", btw) in some brown butter. Added lots of fresh rosemary and salt and pepper. Then I added a glop of frozen (homemade) glace de veaux to turn the butter into a sauce, tossed it with fresh angel hair pasta, and set it on the counter to have with the marinated pork tenderloin that's on the grill. And what happens when I set it on the counter?Bear starts following me around the house yowling at the top of her lungs like I just took away her kittens. For some reason I can't fathom, she wants this more than any other food I've had in her presence, including straight from the oven roasted turkey breast.What an odd cat.
