They all spent the night at ariettas house that night. The next morning they all woke up at the same time. They all sat on the barstools in the kitchen eating breakfast when ariettas mom walked downstairs. She stood behind the counter and stared at them. Hi Mrs. Estelle Carmen said. Hey Carmen. Hey Alyssa. So I havent talked to you guys in awhile whats the low down on your trip? she asked. Arietta stared at her mom. Mom low down? arietta said. Sorry I mean whats the skinny? she asked doing a little dance when she said the word skinny. Carmen and Alyssa laughed while arietta looked down. Well Mrs. E. there was a pretty famous band staying at this resort also Alyssa said. No way. Who? she asked. The Jonas Brothers arietta said. Yeah and we became very close to them we practically hung out with them the whole trip Carmen said. Yeah in fact arietta stopped in her tracks she wasnt quite ready to tell her mom that she was dating Nick cause then she would have to tell her dad and she deff. Wasnt ready for that. In fact we developed little silly crushes on them nothing serious Carmen said finishing ariettas sentence. She turned to Carmen and mouthed the words thank you. Actually mom they wanted us to stop by today. Could we go? she asked. Im sure it would be okay. Your dad left for work already and I am about to meet up with a lady who wants me to help her plan her wedding so Ill be gone all day. Did you guys need a ride? she said. Thats okay I can drive us over there Carmen said. Alright well call me when you guys get home her mom said. Okey dokey thanks mom arietta said. They all waved goodbye and her mom left. Wait I didnt know we were going over there today I thought that was Friday? Alyssa said. No I informed you that the date had changed when we got home from the beach. You fell asleep, Carmen said. Carmen looked at her phone. Oh no were supposed to go over there in an hour! Carmen announced. They all looked at each other then they all rushed up the stairs to get ready practically tripping over each other in the process. After about 45 minutes of getting ready they all rushed to the car. Were having lunch with them and their family Carmen said. Wow its so official for your guys relationships Alyssa said jokingly. She leaned her elbow on the window and stared out of it. Hey dont be mean to us just cuz you arent dating Joe Carmen said. Hey were just friends. Why is that such a problem? Alyssa asked. She leaned her head back against the window. After awhile they drove up a driveway and up to a gate. The gate opened and they drove inside the driveway. Arietta swallowed the lump in her throat as they drove up. Is anyone else extremely nervous? arietta asked. Im right there with ya Carmen said staring at the front door. Alyssa rolled her eyes. Oh come on itll be fun guys. Alyssa said ringing the doorbell. Mr. Jonas answered the door and greeted them with a smile and Frankie who was standing right behind him jumped out and introduced himself. Hey Im Frankie! he exclaimed. Hey there Im Carmen its nice meeting you, she said giving him a hug. When Kevin walked up to the door Frankie turned to him. I like her shes nice he whispered to Kevin. They all laughed. Come on in Kevin said smiling and giving Carmen a hug.
