Nov 18, 2008 - Science is the pursuit of truth. It's methodology is strict, concise and unbiased. Opinions are left at the lab door. ID is false and it's propogation is fraud in the highest form. People who believe in ID, practice hypocrisy every minute of the day in trusting scientific discovery/invention and deny it's findings when it comes to their belief in sky-daddy. Then they teach their children the same hypocrisy. As a science teacher, I am appalled at this fraud perpetrated on our youth.

IDists would never accept science over religion that is the whole point of ID in the first place. Pointing out that they might have to live like the Quakers if ID is true wouldn't deter them for a second. It reminds me of the parable give a man a fish you feed him for a day teach a man to fish he feeds himself for life. Who would choose just one fish?

INFORMATION can't just randomly form from chemicals, and it can't evolve from nothing. It just can't. Thats like saying this comment that i am typing right now came about by randomly pounding my keyboard. Evolution is an old outdated THEORY!!!

I can't remember seeing this stuff in the bible.I wait for your response to back up your incredible claim.

I think you might be surprised at what they really do. For the record I don't pick a side on this issue, but I will say that I strongly disagree with almost every reason you used is this video to prove your point.

Because scientists and Historians have conceded that many historical events in the Bible could have happened. However science proves these things through natural phenomenons not ACTS OF GOD, and as such proves NOTHING about the existence of god. Rather it proves that humanity simply explains events through the supernatural when it can not understand what has happened on a rational level.

Nov 18, 2008 - 1. We have already seen past societies like the Muslims go from intellectual prosperity to ignominious ignorance for their faith and nothing in this world was going to stop them... I would say that assuming the rich can stem the tide of religious delusion is a nice idea but wishful thinking. Education is the only way which includes debunking religious and other delusional ideas like James Randi does is the best solution IMO.
