This song is 'Solid As A Rock, Barack Obama', the 2004 Obama For Senate Theme, from the Obama Campaign. There is currently no documentation available online of who the musicians are that performed it.It seems to have first debuted on the Barack Obama campaign float in the August 10, 2003 Bud Billiken Parade in Chicago, Illinois. It was later made available on the obamaforillinois campaign website, around March 2004.I put together this video for it using 34 cool Barack Obama photos; 26 photos of Obama-inspired 'street art' murals, stencils, and posters; a cake photo; and a photo of a Hope sign carrier running in Iowa. The artwork is located in: San Francisco, California; Oakland, California; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; New York City, New York; Altadena, California; Atlanta, Georgia; Chicago, Illinois; Chicago, Illinois; New York City, New York; Houston, Texas; Longmont, Colorado; San Francisco, California; Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; Los Angeles, California; Santa Barbara, California; Los Angeles, California; Portland, Oregon; Denver, Colorado; New York City, New York; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Los Angeles, California; Savannah, Georgia.LYRICS:If you're concerned like I'm concernedAbout the outcome of our futureYou're ready to move forwardAnd tired of things being like they used toIt starts out with a visionAnd we have to lay the foundationMore jobs, more opportunitiesAnd quality educationWith Barack, Barack Obama(Ooh, say it again)He's solid as a rock, Barack ObamaIf you believe like I believeThat children are our futureYou're ready to move forwardAnd tired of things being like they used toIt starts out with a visionAnd we have to lay the foundationMore jobs, more opportunitiesAnd quality educationWith Barack, Barack Obama(Say it again, say it again)Barack, he's solid as a rock, Barack ObamaIf you believe, you can achieve itBarack, oh don't you know, Barack ObamaIf you're concerned with your communityObama, ObamaCome on with meObama, ObamaTo the futureObama (ooh yeah), Obama (ooh), ObamaHe's solid as a rock, BarackCome on with me, come on with me, Barack ObamaWe can save our communityBarack, Barack ObamaIf you like this song, please consider donating to the 2008 Obama presidential campaign at http://www.barackobama.com/ !You can download an MP3 of this song at http://www.ilsenate.com/News/Media/BarackObama.mp3

Nov 23, 2008 - Just my opinion, but I believe 25% or more of McCain's votes will be because Obama is black......Obama will still win by a large margin in ECV, and popular. I can't wait

Nov 23, 2008 - This is very inspirational and I am very excited, as a student of International Relations, at the prospect of Barack Obama as U.S.President, because of the obvious potential improvements that would be achieved in diplomatic efforts to bring the world closer together in greater tolerance and understanding, and to finally bring to an end unnecessary and unjustified hostility in certain parts of the world.
