Dec 5, 2008 - This was great! I played the role of Happy in my very first play. This guy did it much better than I did. I love his energy and enthusiasm for the role. Thanks for posting!

Dec 5, 2008 - Thanx, Mike. It was my first attempt at directing. What are you doing next?

MikeLindsey001 Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - I did a small part in "Taking Sides" since doing "Over the River..." (the playlist is on my youtube page if your interested). I won't be doing anything more for awhile. I feel like I'd like to take some classes before I get on stage again. I feel like I'm as good as I'm going to get on my own without some kind of insight. I hate watching my performances. It's painful! I'm going to watch this whole play when I have a minute! I love this play. Thanks for posting.

Dec 5, 2008 - In what part of the country do you live? I live in the DC area, and I know there are acting classes all over the place here. However, I firmly believe that practice makes perfect. Keep doing the shows and keep practicing. Make yourself step out of your comfort zone. I'll check out your videos. Directing Death of a Salesman was fun but harder than I thought. I got about 95% percent of what I was looking for.I'm thinking about The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas or Sweeney Todd next.

Dec 5, 2008 - I'm in North Georgia. I've gota couple pro actresses I can get lessonsfrom if I can find some time.I've been asked to co-direct next year. I might give that a try.Sweeney Todd would be fun to do!My daughter got the leadchild role in the Christmas play - "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" so that'swhat I'll be doing for the next five weeks.
