::I have to say sorry for seeming rushed. I shot this about 5 times, each time going over the ten minute limit. I kinda wanted to get this in one video for ease of view and myself waiting to upload these.::Benchmade GriptilianBlade: 3 1/2 inch 154 CM Stainless Steel Blade. Some are coated for stronger rust resistance. Bare blades are featured also. Tanto line for more cutting choice.Handle: Noryl, GTX, Zytel. Lots of choices, but basically all the same I'm pretty sure.Lock: AXIS Lock. Makes for good one handed opening and is easy to use, just watch your fingers.Deployment: Using the AXIS you get it out very fast. If you use the thumbstud, theres a chance of failing getting the knife locked. VERY smooth opening.Price: $80-$85 US. Look around though, there are lower prices out there.Comments: Knife is great. Benchmade lives up to its name. Could be the best gripped knife on the market. Mel Pardue model, look around at his other stuff if you dont know him, good knifemaker. If you are interested in the mini- grip, It is the model 556, not 550. Overall length is a bit over 6and a half inches, blade is just under 3 inches. With the griptilians, there are tanto blades, drop point blades, bare steel, coated, loads of different colors of handles, thumbstubs, thumbhole. Find the perfect one for you.
